What Is GynoSure Syrup?
It is a non-hormonal herbal syrup for adult women. It does not contain hormones, and it is not a substitute for care from your gynaecologist. You take 15–20 ml twice a day, after meals.
Ashoka (Saraca indica), the main herb, has been used in Ayurveda for women’s health for centuries. This women’s wellness syrup pairs it with other classic Ayurvedic, Unani and Western herbs that are traditionally used for the menstrual cycle.
Key Benefits of GynoSure Syrup
Here is what the main herbs in this blend are traditionally used for:
- Menstrual comfort: Ashoka and Lodhra are traditionally used in Ayurveda to support a comfortable cycle and normal flow.
- Cycle wellbeing: Dong quai, white peony and agnus castus are traditionally used for women’s monthly balance.
- Nourishment: Shatavari and Ashwagandha are classic tonic herbs for women’s strength and energy.
- Calm and easy digestion: Saunf, Jeera, Ajmod and Jatamansi are traditionally used for bloating, cramps and a calm mind.
- A non-hormonal option: the formula is fully herbal, with no added hormones.
In short, this ashoka and shatavari syrup is daily herbal support. It works best with good food, rest and your doctor’s guidance.
Ashoka: The Herb at the Heart of GynoSure Syrup
Ashoka is a tree that grows across India. Its name means “without sorrow” in Sanskrit. Ayurvedic texts have long used its bark as a herbal tonic for women, often for the days around the monthly cycle.
In GynoSure Syrup, Ashoka is the largest herb, at 500 mg in every 10 ml. Lodhra, Shatavari and white peony sit beside it, while fennel and cumin help with bloating. Together they make a gentle, everyday blend rather than a strong single herb.

How to Take GynoSure Syrup
Take 15–20 ml with normal water, twice a day, one hour after meals, or as directed by your physician.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Measure 15–20 ml with the cup.
- Mix it with a little normal water and drink it one hour after lunch and dinner.
- Stop the syrup during your period, and start again once your period ends.
- Close the cap tightly and keep the bottle away from sunlight.
Our label suggests using it for at least three months, because the cycle takes time to respond. Ask your doctor how long you should continue.
Who Should Take It, and Who Should Not
This ayurvedic syrup for women is meant for adult women who want herbal support for their monthly cycle.
It may suit you if you:
- are a woman aged 18 or above
- want a non-hormonal herbal option for cycle comfort
- are happy to use it steadily for a few months
Do not take it, or talk to your doctor first, if you:
- are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Dong quai, safflower, motherwort and goldenseal are not advised in pregnancy
- are trying to conceive or are on fertility treatment. Discuss it with your gynaecologist first
- take blood thinners, as Dong quai can increase the risk of bleeding
- take regular medicines, as goldenseal can change how some medicines work (see the NCCIH goldenseal fact sheet)
- have diabetes, as the syrup has a sugar base
- have high blood pressure, a bleeding disorder, or any long-term illness
If you have heavy bleeding, severe pain or no periods for months, please see a doctor first, so the cause can be found.
Possible Side Effects and Safety Tips
Most women take this syrup without trouble at the right dose. Some may notice:
- mild loose stools or stomach upset, from Rewandchini and Baheda
- a change in the timing or flow of the next period
- nausea if taken on an empty stomach
- skin that burns more easily in the sun (from Dong quai)
Stop taking it and see a doctor if you get heavy bleeding, a rash, swelling or severe stomach pain. Keep the bottle out of children’s reach.
When Will I See Results?
Herbal syrups work slowly. Most women need two to three cycles of regular use to notice a change, and our label suggests at least three months.
You will get more from it if you:
- eat iron-rich foods such as green leafy vegetables, dates and jaggery
- move for 30 minutes most days
- sleep seven to eight hours a night
- track your cycle in an app or diary to see changes
