Key Benefits of DiboWell

Here is what the main parts of this formula are traditionally used for or added for:

  • Protein support: whey protein concentrate adds protein to your diet and helps you feel full.
  • Sugar balance herbs: Gymnema (Gurmar), banaba, bitter melon and fenugreek are traditionally used to support healthy blood sugar levels.
  • Spice and fibre: cinnamon and dietary fibre are commonly used in diabetic diets.
  • Heart-friendly fat: DHA is an omega-3 fat that supports the heart and brain.
  • Daily nutrients: a vitamin and mineral mix, with chromium, zinc and magnesium, helps fill small gaps in your diet.

In short, this herbal protein powder is a convenient top-up for your meals. It works best with a balanced plate, daily walking and regular sugar checks.

  5. Close the tub tightly. Use it within 1 month of opening.

Who Should Take It, and Who Should Not

DiboWell is meant for adults who follow a diabetic diet and want an easy nutrition drink.

It may suit you if you:

  • are an adult who watches your blood sugar
  • need a quick, light snack between meals
  • want extra protein in your day

Do not take it, or talk to your doctor first, if you:

  • are pregnant or breastfeeding (the pack says to avoid use)
  • are a child under 5 years (the pack does not recommend it)
  • are allergic to milk, soya or sulphites (it has whey, colostrum, soya oil and a sulphite preservative)
  • have kidney disease, liver disease or a long-term illness
  • take insulin, sugar-lowering tablets, blood thinners or blood pressure medicines
  • are due for surgery soon

Please consult your doctor before use. DiboWell is not a vegan product.

Possible Side Effects and Safety Tips

Most people take it well, but a few may notice effects.

  • Low sugar: sugar-balance herbs can add to the effect of diabetes medicines. Watch for shakiness, sweating or dizziness, and check your sugar.
  • Stomach upset: some people feel gas or bloating from whey, fibre or sweeteners.
  • Allergy: milk, soya or sulphite allergy can cause a rash or breathing trouble. Stop and see a doctor at once.

Do not skip your regular meals or medicines because of this drink. Keep checking your blood sugar as your doctor advises. For a full guide to daily care, see the NHS page on managing type 2 diabetes.

When Will I See Results?

A nutrition drink gives support, not quick changes. Any change in your sugar readings needs several weeks of regular use, along with diet and exercise. Your doctor’s lab tests are the real guide.

You will get more from it if you:

  • walk for 30 minutes a day
  • fill half your plate with vegetables
  • cut down on sweets, white rice and sugary drinks
  • sleep 7 to 8 hours
  • take your medicines and tests on time

How many scoops of DiboWell should I take a day?

The label gives 10 g (1 level scoop) in 50 ml of water per serving. It does not state a daily limit, so ask your doctor or dietitian.

Does DiboWell contain sugar?

It has no table sugar, but it does have maltodextrin and dextrose, which are carbohydrates. Check your sugar readings, and ask your doctor if unsure.

Does it have side effects?

Some people get gas, bloating or low sugar if they also take diabetes medicines. Stop and see a doctor if you get a rash or breathing trouble.

Can I take it with metformin or insulin?

Ask your doctor first. Herbs like Gymnema may add to the sugar-lowering effect, so your doctor may want to check your sugar more often.

Sugar readings need several weeks of regular use, along with diet and exercise. Test as your doctor advises.

Can women and older adults take it?

Adult women can take it, but not during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Older adults should check with a doctor first, especially if they have kidney problems.

Is it habit-forming?

No. It is a food-type powder with nothing addictive. You can stop it any time, but check with your doctor if it is part of your diet plan.

What if I miss a serving?

Just have your next serving at the usual time. Do not take a double serving to make up for it.
